Mrs. Latanya Franklin is the founder, CEO, and Clinical Director of Walk In Your Truth Counseling & Consulting, LLC, a Counseling & Consulting practice located in North Houston.  A native of Northwest Louisiana, Mrs. Franklin earned her Bachelor of Art in General Studies, Masters of Art in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University, and is currently pursing her Doctorate in Counseling Education. I hold a School Counseling certificate and have over 11 years in the field of Counseling and Education. Knowing that life can sometimes get a bit difficult and seems inevitable to encounter at times, but life WILL get better. As a therapist, I am here to aid you in the process of healing while identifying both triggers and problems blocking you from being your best.

 

Latanya is a Nationally Board Certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NCC) #793096, with over 12 years of experience in the mental health field. Her licenses/certifications include: Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor #77572, Registered Play Therapist and Certified School Counselor with over a decade of experience working in the field of behavioral health and education. Latanya is a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor-Intern, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Prepare and Enrich Facilitator, and a Clinically Certified Criminal Justice Specialist serving those with mental health challenges to reach their full potential.
